
Have you ever felt like a change was coming but didn’t yet know what it was? That unsettled feeling of not being grounded in what has been and not yet knowing where you are meant to be….a limbo of sorts…a transition.
I’ve been feeling like that recently. It’s not the first time in my life, either, but it doesn’t feel any less uncomfortable. The belief and faith in the natural unfolding process is less hard than before but it’s still not easy.
Supporting ourselves through a time of transition IS something we can influence though. Some things that work for me include:
-proper rest (sleep and quiet time)
-healthy food (this one’s a challenge at times)
-being in nature (for me this is the beach)
-time with loved ones (friends and family)
-swimming (being in the water is soothing)
-my art journaling (surrounding myself with color and texture to create something of beauty with personal meaning )
